RX -- Boot block error detected TX -- LOD binary image error detected ERROR -- S28 binary image error detected LINK -- DSP programming error detected Since you see the TX LED flashing, it could signal a corrupted LOD image, however you should still see the @ on the serial port. Of course, if the boot block code itself is trashed, the flashing LED pattern could be meaningless. J11 can be used to start the built-in DXP38 hardware test routines. First short together the two pins at the '1' end of J11, then turn the DXP ON. The short only needs to be present during power up. This should start the internal test routines, and the front panel LEDs should not flash. With PuTTY (9600 8N1) connected to the serial port, the [Enter] key should display the test routine options.
