Diagram of the pin connections of a 4, 5, 6, and 7 pin socket adapter for use with Jackson 648's and 658's. This diagram provides the information a person would need to build a socket adapter for the more modern 648's and 658's which don't have sockets for the older tubes. The adapters themselves are fairly rare, but easy to make, with this information. Jackson used an odd channel scheme for pin connections, so it's not as simple as connecting pin 1 of a 4-pin socket, for example, to pin 1 of something the tester has, like an octal socket. This adapter would use female 4-7 pin sockets, and a male octal socket (which plugs into the tester's octal socket). Compliments of Erik Knutson.
