A number of companies sold this signal tracer/signal injector. I actually found my users guide which includes the schematic. This is for the Lodestar SE-6100 Signal Tracer/Injector but is exactly the same device sold as Tenma 72-540 and Sansei 6100.

I scanned these in on my home scanner and have combined them. I think that this may be of use for I have read multiple threads on Antique Radio Forum, etc. looking for this information.
